Food is amazing!!! The chicken and beef shish, so yummy. Going back for sure.. I highly recommend!

A place to buy good Mediterranean cuisine to be made at home or they have prepared food also. I can't believe after being in Clovis for over 2 decades, I finally made it a point to come here. They have seasoned meats of all sorts. Beef, chicken, lamb they have it ready to be cooked at home. They have many frozen items that you can ever want. Some of these items you can get at the local Mediterranean restaurant but you can buy the frozen version here and make it at home. On my first visit I had the marinaded beef and marinaded chicken. I bbq'ed this at home and they were one of the tasty meat around. If you are familiar with Mediterranean cuisine, I would recommend this place, it seems like they have all your needs possible.

This spot is my go to when visiting Clovis area! It's a small hole in the wall but a gem. Great food, portions and really friendly mom and pop shop. We usually get their chicken and beef plates which are AMAZING. Totally suggest stopping by if you want authentic Mediterranean food.

Great food! The kabobs are always on point and never dry. Rice pilaf is always good. Love the garlic sauce instead of hummus.

I was in Clovis taking a look at a school. I yelped places nearby and came across Ararat Market. Went there and ordered their chicken kabob plate. Came with rice, white sauce, salad, and pita. They made it fresh and It was INCREDIBLE! So happy I came to this place. Wish it was near me. Would have loved to come back regularly.

Their take out food was fresh and delicious. We plan to use them for an upcoming party for 50 guests.

We absolutely love this place. They serve an array of kebabs from chicken, beef and lamb. Including lula kebab (ground meat) It's also a small market selling fresh produce, a selection of olives and in the refrigerator section there are freshly made garlic sauce, hummus et cetera. This is a place to get your food to go. Call ahead to call in your orders, the regular wait time for your food is about 20 minutes.

Was craving Mediterranean/Israeli food and this hit the spot. The prepared food is made to order in a small grocery store which was such a gem. Got the falafel wrap and the lamb shish plate. Full of falafel in every bite. But the lamb.... One of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, succulent and juicy! Accompanied rice pilaf was also full of flavors. Tomato cucumber salad was refreshing and nice garlic sauce to dip. We also got hummus and baba ghanoush which were excellent. Will definitely come again!!

Always a reliable favorite Med rare lamb chops one bed pf delicious pilaf and veg salad with that amazing garlic sauce. Fresh pita bread to top it off. Ararat Market is such a joy to grab your meal and have a look around the store for items such as imported sweets, breads of all types, and a wide variety of drinks. If you haven't tried this place, treat yourself soon. If you have enjoyed a meal or two, have another and share with a good friend for a compete and enjoyable evening. You can thank me later!

Amazing lunch options, unique and delicious market treats, and probably some of the tastiest European desserts Ive found in a bodega. My wife and I were looking for Mediterranean food and Arrat Market popped up. While I don't think this place is a true Mediterranean restaurant they do offer delicious Mediterranean focused plates. We ordered two Chicken kebab plates with a side dzadziki (yogurt sauce) and extra pita. The food was amazing. The chicken was super juicy and full of flavor and the rice was a perfect mix of al dente yet not try. Dzadziki, which I've never seen it spelled like that, was super fresh and the crispy cucumber added a nice crunch. Definitely a revisit dinner spot and they take phone orders! While we waited for our food we shopped around. This place is small, but they have so much good stuff here. Tons of international spices, candies, and jarred items. We left with some spices, a bag of cinnamon cookies, and lots of sweets for the kiddos. Can't wait to head back here and sample more of their menu and get a few more sweet treats!
